Debra Lynn Hammond was born in Flagstaff, Ariz., lived in Kalispell, Mont., Custer, S.D., San Diego, Calif., Kingman, Ariz., and lastly Mesquite, Nev.
She raised two children and worked at Walmart for 21 years, enjoying her early years of employment when the workplace principles of Sam Walton were customary. After moving to Mesquite in 2014, she met the love of her life, Marcus Hall.
She was a friend to all, and helped many in need or those facing medical challenges. Her friendly manner and open smile greeted all.
Debby died unexpectedly Dec. 12, 2017, in Mesquite due to complications from diabetes. She was 53.
She is survived by her daughter, Melodie Cisneros; son, Lecil (Karly) Cisneros; grandson, Arthur Cisneros; mother, Diane Strong; father, James Hammond; uncle, Robert Hammond; bonus mom, Pamela Pettit; brother, Thayne Hammond; and life companion Marcus Hall.
