Girls are back-to-back state champs

The Custer cross country team repeated its success from 2015 by winning the girls state “A” championship title Saturday, Oct. 22. The boys team took fourth place at the meet, which helped the team win the combined team award. It’s not often a team gets the chance to repeat as state champions, but the girls who make up Custer’s cross country team aren’t part of your run-of-the-mill team.
