The 2019 Custer High School Prom will feature a fanciful theme when it takes place this Saturday evening. The decorations for the event will attempt to capture the feel of a masquerade ball, according to principal Orion Thompson.
Students are to arrive at the school at 6:30 p.m. and line up for the Grand March which begins at 7 p.m. Prom will begin at 8 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the door and are priced at $25 per couple or $15 per individual.
Post prom will take place at Watiki indoor water park in Rapid City. Buses for post prom will depart from the school at 12:30 a.m. so students are advised to bring all necessities for the night to prom.
After post prom, students will leave Rapid City at around 4:45 a.m. and arrive in Custer at about 5:45 a.m. Sunday.
