Meeting stirs discussion, skepticism

The public input meeting of the Custer Parks and Recreation Committee’s master plan gave many residents the time to address their thoughts and ideas on the future of Custer’s parks and recreational spaces. Participants were asked to select their favorite parks on a map, as well as suggest ideas on pieces of paper which were pinned to a particular park. The information will be collected and used during the drafting phase of the master plan.
The first step for a master plan of Custer’s parks was taken Tuesday, Oct. 25, with a public input session at the pine room.
