If the huge numbers of travelers visiting Custer State Park this summer are any indication, these donkeys along the Wildlife Loop are no doubt fat and happy as fall approaches. Through August, the park has hosted 1.7 million visitors which represents an increase of 300,000 over the same period in 2020.
