Just in case you missed it, last Tuesday was the one year anniversary of “15 Days to Flatten the Curve.” It was March 16, 2020 when federal officials called for drastic economic measures in an attempt to keep the number of COVID-19 infections from spiking too quickly. The lockdowns, as they came to be called, represented something new in the history of epidemics—“social distancing” within the general population and quarantining the healthy instead of the sick.
