The Custer School District Board of Education and school administrators plan to fast track a proposal to increase staffing to meet the needs of a growing distance learning program in the wake of coronavirus.
During discussion at Monday night’s regular meeting on a line item related to in-district versus “distance learning by choice” numbers, several staff members said the burden of trying to keep track of students who have chosen to do courses online is putting added stress on the staff who are trying to administer the program.
