The winter can be a particularly hard time for those in need.
To help those who are less fortunate, the Farmer’s Daughter is once again putting mittens, hats and scarves outside of its store to give away to those who might need some warming up in an operation dubbed Hill City Operation Warm Hands.
“This is our fifth year doing this,” said Lorena Freis, owner of the Farmer’s Daughter. “This year we have them strung across arbors to make them easier for people to access.”
