One hundred twenty nine people voted in the Keystone municipal election April 8.
Two open seats were up for grabs. Nikki Ball and Matt Fullilove emerged victorious in the race. Ball received 86 votes, while Fullilove received 65 votes. Lynette Tyon received 59 votes.
“I thank everyone who voted for me and everyone who voted,” Ball said. “I will do the best I can.”
Fullilove responded to his win by saying, “Yes,   this wasn’t just about me running for another seat on the board. This a referendum from all of our citizens that we have had enough of secret agendas and unqualified leadership in our town’s governance. Let’s get back to normalcy. To my voters, and especially, a select few, thank you for all the leg work you did for our community. I’m ready to go on day one. God bless you all!”
A canvass of the election results will take place at a special meeting April 14 at 8 a.m. at the Keystone  Community Center.
