Denise Dean
Denise Lea Dean was born Dec. 31, 1935, to Clyde and Grace (Paris) Graham in an old shack six miles north of Pringle, S.D.
At 18 years of age, she married the handsome Donald James Dean. They lived, worked and started a family in the area alongside many relatives from both sides.
Denise loved Jehovah God, her family and people. She was a human workhorse having as many as three jobs a day for years.
Denise Lea was 88 years old when she took her last break May 22, 2024 surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald James Dean.
So happy to have shared her life are her children, son, Johnny James (Mary) Dean of Upton, Wyo.; daughters, Cora Lea (Kolby) Atkinson of Piedmont, S.D. and Diana Lynn (Jack) Ogilvie of Pringle; grandchildren, Jesse, Jamie, Amber, Lacie, Lindsay, Candace and Corissa; great-grandchildren, Kaegan, Jolin, Otto, Oly, Izabella, Josie, Presley, Markus, Declan, Aurora, Waylan, Marlea, Wyatt, Abigail and Penelope, she’s on the way.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are delivering a 1 p.m. memorial talk June 22 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 12368 US Hwy. 16A, Custer.
The graveside rites will follow at the Pringle Cemetery and a luncheon will be served at the Pringle Community Center.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Custer.
