The library’s hours will continue to be Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Curbside service is still available, please 574-4529 for assistance.

The library will be closed Oct. 12.

The library will be hosting the annual Read for the Record Event Oct. 29 at 9:30 a.m. in the Kid’s Annex. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend!

We are looking forward to another fun evening participating in the Hill City Merchant Trick-or-Treat night Oct. 30.

We are still in the planning stages of the library’s 50th Anniversary. Mark Nov. 12 on your calendar; everyone is welcome to come and help us celebrate this special event.

Caregivers we still offer the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program. This program is available to help your child be a successful reader and student. If you have questions or would like to register your child please stop at the library.

Storytime is on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. in the Kid’s Annex. Join Ms. Shelley and the wonderful preschool children from the Boys & Girls Club.

The Book Club will meet Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at the library to discuss the book titled “The Wife Between Us” by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. Book club books are available at the help desk.

I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at your Hill City Public Library.
