A total of 56 voters turned out for the most recent Keystone Town Board election.

Matt Fullilove received 33 votes and Will Parks received 23.

“I’ve been a resident of Keystone for over 10 years,” said Fullilove. “I am a father of three children and am lucky enough to have a beautiful fiancée. I have worked alongside the best of the best with the top well drilling company in the Black Hills for several years.”

During his downtime, Fullilove spends time with his children fishing, hiking, hunting and snowboarding.

Fullilove tuned “everything out” the night of the election.

“When my phone started to blow up with texts and notifications, I realized I had won,” he said. “Both candidates were qualified to fill the spot but the residents of Keystone saw me fit to fill the seat. I am grateful to everyone for giving me this opportunity and we, as a town, will work to mitigate the issues.”

Fullilove begins his three-year term May 3.
