Kindergarten
Where did you go to college?
I grew up in Crawford, Neb.
I attended Black Hills State University, but I received my teaching degree online through Ashford University.

This is my second year.
Why did you become a teacher?
I began working as a paraprofessional in 2016 and fell in love with the job and the kids.
The teachers I worked with, Karen McKee and Bobbi Morrison, inspired me to go back to college to pursue a teaching degree.
What do you love about teaching?
I love the school and town pride that everyone has. People are happy to be here and it is infectious.
Would you like to share any personal info?
I’ve lived in Hill City for six years with my husband Dustin on his family’s ranch.
We have a 2-year-old son and are expecting our second child.
We love the outdoors and have two hound dogs, three cats, two turkeys, a bunch of chickens, a goat, a donkey and five buffalo.
