Hwy. 16/Neck Yoke meeting Nov. 22

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT)  is holding an informal  open house Nov. 22 to present the Neck Yoke Road/Hwy. 16 project. The open house style public meeting takes place at the Black Hills Energy building on Hwy. 16. 

 

A presentation of the project will take place at 5:30 p.m., with SDDOT staff available to answer questions after. This will include the proposed project and timeline schedule. 

 

The proposal includes a “reduced conflict intersection,” additional lighting and tune lanes. The project shows a phased construction timeline beginning in 2025 and a projected $12.8 million dollar cost.

 

The public is encouraged to attend and written comments will also be accepted at this time.
