Norma Halbert

Norma Lucia Halbert, known as Lucy to many, was born Sept. 11, 1956, in Ft. Riley, Kan., to Gene and Doris (Klein) Landphere.  
Norma, of Custer, S.D., passed away Dec. 2, 2020, at Monument Health Custer Hospital in Custer, S.D. She was 64.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of Custer; sons, Darren J. (Mireille) Halbert of Custer, and Shannon J. (Deserae) Halbert of Box Elder, S.D.; brothers, Robert (Glenda Landphere) of Bison, S.D., and Norman (Gloria) Landphere of Belle Fourche, S.D.; sisters, Susan (Dennis) Hulm of Meadow, S.D., Tina (David) Skjoldal of Elgin, N.D., and Christy Larson of Hill City, S.D.; and grandchildren, Dalton and Kirsten Halbert, and Shawn, Kaleah and Kiera Pierce.
Funeral services were Dec. 8 at The Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Hill City. Committal services were Dec. 8 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish, S.D.
