Park offers free programs at library

Sending a reminder the next Friends of Library meeting is 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at City Hall. Charlotte Cushman, an educator and author, will be the presenter for the program. These are great programs and everyone is welcome to attend.
 
 
This fall, the library is hosting four free programs with Custer State Park. These programs will be held noon til 12:45 p.m. in the library’s Kids’ Annex:
November 5: Safety for the non-hunter.
November 19: All about turkey.
December 3: Winter dress and preparation.
December 17: Winter animal survival strategies.
 
 
Thank you to everyone who participated in the library’s Read for the Record event. 
 
 
The Imagination Club meets in the Kids’ Annex right after school Thursdays, unless otherwise posted.
 
 
Storytime is Fridays in the Kids’ Annex. Join the wonderful children from the Hill City Boys & Girls Club for stories and fun activities. 
 
 
The Book Club will meet in the Kids’ Annex 5 p.m. Nov. 29 to discuss ‘The Dictionary of Lost Words’ by Pip Williams.
 
 
The library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 27.
