Ranger boys lose three, beat Kadoka

The Hill City High School Ranger boys basketball team kicked off its week with a home game against the Sturgis Brown Scoopers Jan. 24. The Scoopers went into the game with a standing of 3-5 and beat the Ranger boys with by a score of 52-45. 
After that, the Ranger boys traveled to Wall for a game against the Eagles Jan. 26. It was a close game, but the Eagles won 81-78. 
On Jan. 28, the Ranger boys traveled to Irene-Wakonda High School for a game against the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds. The Warbirds were at 10-1 going into the game and claimed a win against the Rangers with a score of 59-50. 
The Ranger boys were back on the court again on Jan. 30 for a game against the Kadoka Area Kougars. They brought home a win by one point, leaving the score at 50-49. 
This week the Ranger boys have an away game against the Newell Irrigators Thursday, Feb. 2. The varsity game begins at 3 p.m. 
After that, the Ranger boys will face the Hot Springs Bison at Case Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 4. The varsity game is at 7:30 p.m.
