Sandra Boggs

Sandra Marie Boggs  was born Nov. 30, 1943, to Amos and Grace Simants. She married her lifelong partner and best friend Billy Boggs  Nov. 20, 1962.
They made their home and raised their five children in Pringle, S.D. Sandra dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her door was always open no matter what. She was known to all as “granny” and did much spoiling. There wasn’t anything you couldn’t have as there were no rules for grandchildren at her house. There will always be a special place in each of our hearts for the love she has shown and will be greatly missed!
Sandra passed away peacefully with family by her side April 7, 2025. She was 81.
We give very special thanks to Judy and her staff at Judy’s assisted living in Belle Fourche. Granny made this her second family and was her home for the last three-and-a-half years. I know her presence will be missed.
We would also like to thank the Spearfish Canyon Healthcare and Stillwater Hospice for the wonderful treatment she got, as well as her family, the last few days of her life.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; her parents; six brothers; and one sister.
She leaves behind two sons, James Boggs of  Texas and Edward (Laura) Boggs of Florida; three daughters, Shelley (Shawn) Stiles of Deadwood, S.D., Lori Boggs (Travis Lipp) of Belle Fourche, S.D.,  and Annette (Rob) Miller, of Custer, S.D.; 11 grandchildren, Kylar Boggs of  Texas, Candace Boggs of Texas, Brianna (Dillon) Larson of Texas, William Boggs of Florida, Adam (Jo) Stiles of Sturgis, S.D., Andrew (Priscila) Stiles of Rapid City, S.D., Erica (Curt) Gerkin of Belle Fourche, Emitt Lipp of Belle Fourche, Kristina (Heath) Reindl of Custer,  Cody Miller of Rapid City,  and Brandon Miller of Gillette, Wyo.; eight great- grandchildren, Eisley Larson, Dalton Boggs, Jamison Boggs, Eliza Gerkin, Kiera Miller, Quinn Reindl, Jocelynn and Jasper Stiles; and one sister, Marilynn Reel (Ike) Texas.
