The adult reading contest begins Feb. 6. We will have weekly prize drawings and the grand prize winners will be announced March 21.
South Dakota students and families can access a new online tutoring program, staffed by college students who are preparing to become teachers.
The Dakota Dream Online Tutoring Program  offers free online tutoring to K-12 students across the state. Questions about this program should be directed to onlinetutoring@sdbor.edu
We are planning an adult diamond art program in March for up to 15 adults. If you are interested please stop in the library and pick out your kit and let us know what day and time would work best for you.
The Literacy Council of the Black Hills is looking for additional tutors in the Hill City area. If you would like more information, please contact Jenn at 605-391-0854. The library is ready to help any tutor with books and a space to meet with their student. What a great way to give back to your community!
The book club will meet Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. in the Library’s Kids’ Annex to discuss “The Woman in the Library” by Sulari Gentill.
The Imagination Club meets on Thursdays right after school.
Storytime is Fridays at 9:30 a.m. in the Library’s Kids’ Annex. Join the wonderful children from the Hill City Boys & Girls Club for stories and fun activities.
We look forward to seeing each of you at your Hill City Public Library.
