The Hill City Quilt Show was the place to be this weekend.

Some people, like Hill City Arts Council board secretary Kristie VanBogart even wore her quilt to the show. It was created for her by vendor Teri Peitzmeier, who gives a second life to old quilts.

Peitzmeier said many people put their heart and soul into quilts and as people age, those quilts might get cast aside. She takes those old quilts and repurposes them into coats people can wear.
