The Hill City boys wrestling team’s season is over, with none of the boys advancing from regions to state.
“Our two eigthth graders came so close to making it to state but didn’t quite make it,” said coach Tanner Davis. “It was a great weekend, though, and they had great matches.”
The boys placed 14th overall, scoring 20 team points at the Class 4B Region Tournament.
Cory Ronish (4-6) placed fifth and scored 14 team points in his 106-pound class, winning by fall over Taggen Paxton of McLaughlin.
