On June 6, 2026, Patty Feddersen, 95, ascended to Heaven into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Patricia May (Ross) Feddersen was born May 1, 1931, in Rapid City, S.D. to Fred and Floy Ross. 
Patty enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and shopping. She treasured time with family and friends and delighted in fishing at Spring Creek with her dad and brothers.
Patty’s grand passion in life was her deep devotion to and daily walk with Jesus. Her deepest desire was to see her family come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Bernice Alice Churchill, 98, of Fairburn, S.D., passed peacefully Sunday evening May 24, 2026, while napping in the last rays of sunshine. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed.
Join us in celebrating 98 years of memories! Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home in Rapid City, S.D. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 12 at the Fairburn Church, followed by burial in the Fairburn Cemetery.

Elaine Faye (Ritchie) Emery, 91, died Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Monument Health Hospital in Custer, S.D., surrounded by her family and friends.
Elaine was born at the Homestake Hospital in Lead, S.D., Jan. 8, 1935, to Walter J. Ritchie and Hazel S. (Keffeler) Ritchie. She attended elementary school at Saint Patrick’s Catholic School, then attended Lead High School, graduating in 1952.
Elaine married James W. Emery in Lead Aug. 24, 1957, and they had one son, David.

Wilma Ellen (Covalt) Behm, 84, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, in Rapid City, S.D. She is now free from the grips of Alzheimers and reunited with her beloved husband, Wesley.
Wilma was the firstborn child to Victor E. and Betty J. (Douglass) Covalt April 26, 1942, in Alliance, Neb. She first attended a one-room schoolhouse, then finished at Alliance public schools, graduating with honors in 1960.

Christy Larson, 60, of Hill City, S.D., passed away April 19, 2026, in Monument Health of Rapid City, S.D.
Christy was born in Hettinger, N.D. to Gene and Doris (Klein) Landphere  Dec. 21, 1965. She graduated from Bison (S.D.) High School.

Arlis Knutson

Arlis “Arlie” Brendsel Knutson, 88, passed away peacefully May 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her three children. 
Arlie was born in Brookings, S.D., and later moved to Sioux Falls, S.D., where she graduated from Washington High School.

Janette K. Murray, born July 19, 1942, died peacefully at her home May 18, 2026, attended by her husband, Arthur Amiotte while under the auspice of Rapid City Monument Health Home Hospice Care.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Murray, of Pine, Colo. stepson, Andrew Amiotte of Chadron, Neb.; sister, Judy Trautman and nephew Tim Trautman of Moorhead, Minn.; niece, Tamara Trautman Bowersock (Haas, Douglas) of Wichita Falls, Texas; and three grand-nephews, Landon and Collin Bowersock and Tyler Trautman.

William Leschensky

William D. Leschensky, 91, of Custer, S.D., passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. 
Funeral services will be held at the Custer Lutheran Fellowship Wednesday, May 20, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Shannon Witt officiating.
William was born Dec. 27, 1934, in Waukon, Iowa, to William A. Leschensky and Hazel (Helms) Leschensky. He earned a B.A. in mathematics from Cornell College in 1956 and an M.A. in mathematics from the University of Northern Iowa in 1965.

Evelyn Johnson

On Saturday, June 6, at 2 p.m. at the Hill City Center  the family of Pastor Evelyn Johnson will have a celebration of life service in her memory. 
Pastor Evelyn served as pastor of Community Lutheran Church from 2001 to 2007. She passed away last Fall in York, S.C.
