Patrick Henderson was born Nov. 17, 1960, in Rapid City, S.D., to Frank and Norma Henderson. He spent his youth on the Henderson Ranch in Hill City, S.D. He forever loved and admired the beauty of the Black Hills.
Patrick first attended Tabor College (Kansas) and later became a graduate of the University of South Dakota where he earned a degree in business administration.

Matthew Swanson

Matthew Charles Swanson of Hill City, S.D., passed away Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023. in Omaha Neb., after contracting West Nile virus. 
Matthew is survived by his wife, Becky; sons, Cole Swanson of Spokane Wash., and Cade (Sophie) Swanson of Lingle, Wyo.;  daughters, Jessica (Brett) Simons of Rapid City, S.D., and Mackenzie Swanson of Hill City. Also missing their Papa are grandchildren Audrey Swanson, Landon and Oliver Simons, Truitt and Sterling Swanson. 

Daniel Sagdalen

Daniel “Dan” Jack Sagdalen was born Sept. 1, 1959, a son of Jack and Betty Jo Sagdalen in Rapid City, S.D. He was raised in the Keystone area and graduated from Hill City (S.D.) High School in 1977. He began working with his father in his company Hills Construction LLC.  He later went on to own the company and continued working until his passing.

Olga Parker

Olga Glassman Parker was born Nov. 13, 1929, to William and Hope Glassman, in Philadelphia, Pa.
Olga grew up in Warren, Pa., leaving that city at the age of 16 after only two years of high school  to attend the University of Chicago.  She graduated in 1949 with a BA in liberal studies and proceeded to Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh, Pa., to earn a secretarial degree.

James Anderson

KEYSTONE - James A. Andersen, 77, passed away peacefully Friday, May 19, 2023, at Monument Home Health + Hospice House in Rapid City, SD.  Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Keystone Cemetery.  Please visit the online memorial for Jim at: www.OsheimSchmidt.com.

Lance Feddersen

Lance Steven Feddersen was born to Steven and Vicki Feddersen April 4, 1984, in Gillette, Wyo. He grew up in Newcastle, Wyo., where he attended school and graduated in 2003.
After high school he attended Jobs Corps in Nemo, S.D., where he graduated with a certification in stone masonry. He married Tanya Anderson in Newcastle, Wyo., July 19, 2008 and he became step- father to Kelly and Austin. 

James Hansen

James Wesley Hansen was born to Wesley and Billie JoAnn (Jones) Hansen Nov. 15, 1962, in Hot Springs, S.D.
James graduated from Custer (S.D.) High School in 1981. He was married to his loving wife Delores for 24 years. They loved riding their Harley and dancing together. 
James cherished spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and really loved spoiling the great grandchildren.
He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Gary Frohme

Gary Frohme was one of three children, son of Chas and Isabelle Frohme born in St. Croix, Wis.
After retiring from the Air Force he resided in Rochford, S.D. There he served as the fire chief for the Rochford Volunteer Fire Department. Additionally, he worked with the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department on both the snowmobile trail program and the Mickelson Trail.
Gary, beloved father and 20-year US Air Force veteran, passed away Feb. 28, 2023. He was 85.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon.

Mary Doescher

Mary Holland was born Feb. 25, 1917, to Frank and Rosa Holland in Auxvasse, Mo. She married Wm. Lawrence Heuer Mar. 12, 1943. They owned the telephone company in Stickney, S.D., and later in Alpena, S.D.
Mary was a school teacher, Red Cross instructor, Head Start director and hospice volunteer. She gave piano and art lessons and taught Bible studies. As an artist, she painted murals, signs and paintings. She was known throughout the region for her chalk drawings. She lived a life of service to others.
